— Tellwright Systems, Inc. today introduced Concord, a software platform that lets investigators search and connect the records their agency already holds. Concord brings together data from records management systems, computer-aided dispatch, case files, jail management, pawn records and tip lines in one workspace, without replacing any of them.

Concord is in use today at three police departments and one sheriff’s office in Virginia and Maryland, which took part in a twelve-month pilot. In the pilot, investigators found related reports in other systems for 38 percent of the cases they opened in Concord, connections that had previously required a written request to another unit.

“A detective should not need six logins and a week of phone calls to learn that the car in her case was stopped two counties away last month,” said Damon Pruett, co-founder and chief executive officer of Tellwright. “The information already exists. Concord puts it in front of the people who are responsible for acting on it.”

Concord runs in a customer’s own data center or in a dedicated hosted environment, and every search is logged against the user and the case number. Agencies keep ownership of their data.

Concord is available now to law enforcement agencies in the United States.
